Welcome to
Hooligan Acres website!
We are "aficianados" of the Presa Canario/Dogo Canario breed, devoting time to
showing, raising, training, breeding and rescuing Presa Canario/Dogo Canarios, and educating
their owners, since 1995.
We are on the forefront of many breed events, and very active in
breed politics.
We are not a full time breeder kennel who makes our living
off these dogs. Instead we breed when it's right for us, and when we have
something to accomplish with it, so over the years we have slipped under the
radar. What dogs we have produced have gone on to make positive
impacts in the breed, and what dogs we have rescued or placed have been a great
experience as well.
We've tried to build this website based on as much information as
possible, to educate about the breed; to educate on how to buy a quality dog;
and what mistakes to avoid. If you read this site, you will have all the
information you need to get along in this breed.
